Mark,

Awesome vid. I can still remember when I first started with reaktor. This is just what someone starting out needs. Takes alot of confusion out from the start.

Oh, the bubbles are definataly growing on me.

In this vid they def highlight what you saying.

Thanks Matt,

The bubbles have always been a great success if used correctly.

Sweet its always nice to know more about reaktor..I can say that the video was very helpful. Just one thing i noticed was in the beginning you welcome greeting was rather loud compared to the rest of the video, other than that i could not find any problems. Very Happy

@ 0:50-0:56 fades to almost unhearable

@ 2:05-2:35: low volume

@ 2:40: must we save the ensemble every time?

@ 3:50: THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING THE BOX!!!

Excellent video overall - very helpful!

throughout the video, the volume keeps bumping up and down for some reason... Razz

Nice video found the instructions very easy to understand. I did however find the level of the vocal to low compared to the rest of the synth noises i felt the level at the start was perfect mainly because i ended up turning the volume up to try and hear the vocal for the rest of the video only to be blasted with the synth sounds partuculally the acid sound.
Now normally this wouldnt be a problem but having to watch these videio out of hours as such a have to think of neighbours if listening through my speakers and b have to protect my ears if listening through headphones and i just found the mix of vocal and syth didnt compement each other.

Cheers Derren

Apart from the voice issue that has been mentioned already I found the video great and essential for someone taking his first steps with the Reaktor monster!!! Great intro vid, excellent use of info bubbles!

Thanks Labros,

I am looking to re assess my mic set-up. Although i am using a Rode NT1A its on a boom
which means that as soon as i move my head there is a dip in volume.

SO i have found a new solution which is a set of "Broadcast Quality" headphones with high end mic.

I will be looking to buy a pair on Monday although they are expensive so i have to
sell some stuff first. So if anyone is interested in a Korg Kaoss Pad 3, Rode NT1A mic or
Sennheiser HD600 headphones let me know Smile

Beta 2 Video
Ratings 1-10. 10 being highest.

Content 10 Great job explaining all the details of what you are doing. It makes Reaktor look like a child's toy. I'm even comfortable building a basic synth with it!

Video Quality 5: When opening the video full screen, it is not as clear as the other videos in the course when it first starts out. Once you start building the synth, there's no issues.

Audio Quality 5: As mentioned earlier about inconsistant volumes. Perhaps you can put a compressor inline with your mic? Just a suggestion, I don't know your setup.

Hi John,

I am surprised about the video quality as there is no difference in the settings used in this vodeo to every other video i have made, i will look into this and see if have erred in some way.

The audio is an ongoing problem, hence the reason i am selling my mic and headphones even though they are high end i need a headset to avoid the dip in volume when i speak due to my head moving.

My new broadcast headset should arrive today so everything should be better from there on.

thanks

As mentioned the voice levels are all over the place.

apart from that its a great start to making sounds/ensembles in reaktor

some really nice little things in there too like number moving etc.

still getting some pixelation on the movement of the camera.
especially the auto save feature tips

this was a great add on for this synth

thanks for the feedback.

I think i will be redoing this and the reaktor intro video from scratch due to audio issues.

Can anyone else verify issues with pix-elation on the videos?

thanks
